WHAT KIND OF DOWNTIME SHOULD I EXPECT FOLLOWING LASER ACNE TREATMENT?
Laser treatment is non-surgical, meaning you’ll experience no blood loss, incisions, or sutures, and the risk of infection is very low. With a non-ablative laser, like the elos Plus, you can return to your normal daily activities immediately after a treatment session. You may have some redness and swelling right afterward, but this should dissipate within a day or two.
Do be extra careful to apply sunscreen daily following laser treatment as your skin may be more sensitive than usual.
